《Pony Pokey》是第一季最终集“最佳良宵”中出现的第三首也是最后一首歌曲。本歌完全由萍琪派演唱，背景旋律则由奥塔维亚及盛大狂奔节上其他乐团成员演奏。萍琪演唱此歌的目的是为了打破狂奔节上世俗而势力的气氛（这与她原本期待的完全相反）。本歌的歌词内容与屏幕上的大部分情景都可一一对应。
本歌曲是《Hokey Cokey》（又称《Hokey Pokey》）的诸多变奏曲中的一种，后者的初始版本在美国仍旧受到版权保护，故动画中的旋律略有改变。在珊农·陈-肯特录制了歌唱部分后，歌曲的器乐部分由威廉·安德森制作。此外，根据广播音乐公司（Broadcast Music）网站上的数据显示，旋律的原创作家是丹尼尔·英格拉姆，安德森的音乐部分则是稍后添加上去的。
本歌是专辑《Pinkie Pie's Party Playlist》中的第五首歌曲。专辑中的歌曲版本与动画中的很不相似（例如吉他、曼陀林和音响合成器），此外还去除了小蝶的声音。
