《The Heart Carol》，又名《A Circle of Friends》，[3][4]是出现于剧集“驱寒之夜”和Enterplay的集换式卡牌游戏中的一首歌曲。在剧集中，歌曲在表演的末尾由一个以七位主要角色以及包括可爱标记童子军在内的台下小马观众组成的小马合唱团演唱。在集换式卡牌游戏中，歌曲由天琴心弦、Golden Harvest、博士、奥塔维亚以及糖糖在他们各自的“Defenders of Equestria”系列卡牌#7 C、#20 C、#34 C、#44 C和#48 C上演唱。[5]该曲的剧集版本也是斯派克参与演唱的第一首歌曲，不过直到第三季第一集的《The Failure Song》中才出现了他的独唱。两个版本的演唱者中都包含了Dr. Hooves。
在剧集播出后不久，丹尼尔·英格拉姆以“A Circle of Friends”为题在他的Facebook上发布了歌词。该版本歌词与剧集中实际播放的版本存在大量不同，随后英格拉姆发出了第二个修改版的歌词。该版本和下面转录的版本之间的唯一差别是“Fire of Friendship”有首字母大写，而最后一句为“A circle of friends we'll be 'til the very end”。
该歌曲的加长版本作为圣诞专辑《It's a Pony Kind of Christmas》的第十首也是最后一首出现，同样也是2015版专辑中唯一一首来自剧集的歌曲。
据《滚石》杂志的一篇文章称，“在作曲时（The Heart Carol）被英格拉姆视为一首‘真正的马迷颂歌’。”[6]
